I cannot recommend the All Citizen's Centre as a venue enough. I've been there a few times now, each well worth the drive. An intimate and cozy little place run by one of the nicest guys in Canada.

We were there to see the Burning Hell and Wax Mannequin, and the show was excellent. CBC Radio 3's Vish Khanna was on tour with them providing percussion. Check out All Citizen's upcoming shows calendar and make it out to one of them!

A trip to Toronto.

I was in Toronto last week! This show is sort of an overview of that, surrounded by a bunch of songs that are neat.

I had a delicious and quite filling "How To Fight Loneliness" sandwich at a Wilco themed sandwich shop. Ingredients: turkey, apple slices, bacon.

This show was all about the wee country of Scotland (wee geographically, not in heart, or... other areas, according to rumour.) It turns out they've mostly perfected strongly emotional rock and roll with an underlying melody catchy enough to keep you from getting too sad.
